SUMMARY:Keeping the Bumthang Deyzhi Clean: A Tribute to the 117th National 
 Day
DESCRIPTION:In honor of the 117th National Day celebration on 17th December
  2024\, Bumthang Dzongkhag will proudly adopt the theme “Keeping the Bum
 thang Deyzhi Clean.” This initiative will highlight the importance of cl
 eanliness and environmental stewardship as a shared responsibility to pres
 erve the beauty and sanctity of Bumthang Deyzhi.\n\nBuild-Up Program and K
 ey Activities\nAs part of the build-up programs\, a mass cleaning campaign
  will be launched with coordinated efforts across Bumthang Dzongkhag\, inv
 olving diverse stakeholders. The planned timeline and expected achievement
 s of this initiative are as follows:\n\n\n 	\nStart of Cleaning Activities
  (8th December 2024):Cleaning efforts will begin with enthusiastic partici
 pation from citizens across the four Gewogs\, religious institutions\, sch
 ools\, regional offices\, and the Dzongkhag administration. This initial p
 hase will focus on cleaning public spaces\, roads\, riversides\, and other
  communal areas.\n\n 	\nMass Cleaning Campaign (14th December 2024):A mass
  cleaning drive will be organized\, where volunteers will reach every nook
  and corner of Bumthang Deyzhi. This collaborative effort is expected to r
 esult in the collection of nearly 11 truckloads (DCM) of waste from variou
 s locations within the Dzongkhag\, ensuring that all collected waste is pr
 operly deposited in the landfill site.\n\n\nSustaining the Initiative\nUnd
 erstanding the significance of continuity\, the Dzongkhag administration h
 as planned to extend this cleaning campaign into a monthly program. This l
 ong-term commitment will help sustain the overarching goal of maintaining 
 a clean and beautiful Bumthang Deyzhi\, fostering a lasting culture of env
 ironmental responsibility among all residents.\n\nCall for Individual Resp
 onsibility\nThe Dzongkhag administration urges every individual to take pe
 rsonal responsibility in managing their waste. By following proper waste d
 isposal practices and remaining collectively vigilant\, we can ensure that
  Bumthang stays clean and pristine for generations to come. A cleaner envi
